  • Page 4 For mounting and wiring information refer to the installation instructions. 1.0 Enrolling the first fingerprint (Security Level 3) Step 1: Install a brand new 9V alkaline battery in the ScanLogic D66 EntryPad. Step 2: Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner, the LCD screen will show “Welcome” and then “Set Time/Date”.

  • Page 10 Lock Body will be locked until the end, and then , the LCD will show: 10.0 Set number of locks (Security Level 3) The ScanLogic D66 is capable of managing up to 4 Lock Bodies using a junction box (Junction box Part# CB11-1T4). The EntryPad must be programmed to recognize the additional Lock Bodies.
  • Page 11 10.2 Enable sequence (Security Level 3) The ScanLogic D66 allows you to set up sequencing when multiple locks are present. This means that you can program the system such that Lock #1 is known to be the Outer (or Main) door on the safe.

  • Page 13 If all users are deleted, Dual Mode will be disabled automatically. 14.0 Set TimeLock (Security Level 3) The ScanLogic D66 has TimeLock functionality. With TimeLock, you can set a timetable during which users can open the safe lock system. Outside of this timetable, no users can enter their code to open the safe lock system.

    In order to operate this function, the EntryPad must be set to communicate with the PC. Complete the following procedures to establish communication. Note: With the ScanLogic D66, the wireless feature allows for LIVE Audit Streaming where all activities at the safe lock are instantly reported to the software across the network.

  • Page 22 The alpha numeric code must be deciphered using SECURAM’s Authorization Code Generator Software. The alpha-numeric code is entered into the software together with the encryption code. Through the software, these codes are deciphered to generate a One Time Use Reset Code.
  • Page 23 The default recovery Code is 999999. Step 4: The LCD screen will display an alpha-numeric number random key. Record this number and call an authorized SECURAM Recovery Center or SECURAM Tech Support at 1-805-988-8088. This code remains valid for a period of 20 minutes only.
  • Page 24 The ScanLogic D66 is a digital system and can be paired with any SECURAM safe lock body. If the lock body that you are pairing the ScanLogic D66 with has been paired previously with an analog system, for example the SafeLogic Basic (or any other SafeLogic Series EntryPad)or was set at the factory in the default Analog mode, the following Simple Mechanical Reset procedure must be followed.

    LOW BATTERY ALERT: The display will alert low battery when battery ● voltage reaches 5.4±0.2V PLEASE REPLACE THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY. When the display alerts low battery, ScanLogic D66 can only be operated ● to lock or unlock. Operations, such as enrolling, deleting or time-delay setting, are not permitted.
