♦ Inclination must be set.
♦ Event memory must be cleared.
Inclination information in „%" is stamped into trim above headlight.
Headlights must be adjusted according to this information. Per‐
centage given is based on a projection distance of 10 metres. For
example: inclination of 1.0 % converts to approx. 10 cm.
The inclination of headlights of vehicles in the North American
market is to be set to 0.7 %.
Loading: With one person or 75 kg on the driver seat and the
vehicle otherwise unloaded (unladen weight).
The unladen weight is the weight of vehicle ready for operation
with a full fuel tank (at least 90 %) including weight of all equip‐
ment normally carried (e.g. spare wheel, tools, jack, fire extin‐
guisher etc.).
If the fuel tank is not at least 90 % full, then load as follows:
– Read fuel level in fuel tank on fuel gauge. Determine additional
weight from following table and place weight in luggage com‐
partment.

1) Only applies to vehicles with 100 l tank capacity. Vehicles with 100 l tank ca‐
pacity (fitted in factory) can be identified by PR No. 0M1 on the vehicle data sticker.
2) Only applies to vehicles with 85 l tank capacity. Vehicles with 85 l tank capacity
(fitted in factory) can be identified by PR No. 0M0 on the vehicle data sticker.
Example:
If the fuel tank is half full, an additional weight of 40 kg or 35 kg
must be placed in the luggage compartment.
Note
Use a container filled with e.g. water or gravel to provide ad‐
ditional weight (a 5-litre fuel canister filled with water weighs
approx. 5 kg).
Write the weight in kg on the container and secure it against
being opened again in order to prevent misuse.
In order to avoid dirt, place a mat/board of some kind in the
luggage compartment.
