Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). All vehicles first registered on, or after, 23rd March 2006 are subject to a new form of Vehicle Excise Duty (Road Fund Licence). This new duty is based upon the type of fuel the vehicle uses and its carbon dioxide (CO per kilometre (g/km). - Page 9 Body protection warranty The internal body sections and panels of the New Touran are covered against rusting through from the inside for 12 years. Naturally, the vehicle must be cared for in compliance with the operating instructions. Please consult your authorised Volkswagen retailer or repairer for full warranty details.
