Preparations for Operation

CAUTION
 Movement with casters should be done slowly. The movement is only in sideways direction. (To prevent from falling)
 No cleaning effect will be experienced if the fi lter is set without detaching the plastic cover. It will also cause unit failure.
 Do not tip over or tilt the unit.

Setting Filter in Unit

 Setting procedure is the same with fi lter replacement. (Use only genuine Hitachi Air Purifi er fi lters.)

Remove rear panel and pre-filter
Place the unit on a flat and stable location.
Hold the bottom part of the rear panel
(2 locations), pull it out gently, and shift
slightly upward to remove it.
Slide the switch upwards (2 locations)
to release the lock.

Remove the pre-filter.

Remove the filter
(filter assembly and deodorizing filter)
Remove the filter assembly
from the unit.
Remove the deodorizing filter.
Remove the filter from the plastic
packaging.

Install the deodorizing filter to the unit
Set the filter at the deodorizing filter set location.
While pressing the tabs on the unit, set the
deodorizing filter and hook the tabs of the
deodorizing filter with the tabs of the unit.
CAUTION
The filter must be removed from the plastic
packaging.
Do not block the front side of the filter with
cloth, paper or other materials.
