Sounds and Vibrations
Symptoms
When using humidify or skin moisturize
modes, the purifi er sometimes makes whir-
ring and gargling sounds
The unit makes rattling sounds when it is
being moved
The flap makes whirring, rattling, and rumbling
noises when it is opened, closed, or in swing mode
The unit vibrates when it is on "Max" airfl ow rate.
The airflow rate frequently switches in the
middle of humidify mode
and the sound is distracting
Heat and Smells
Symptoms
The air coming out of the air outlet smells
The Touch Operation Panel is warm
Check
It is the sound of the unit pumping water from the water tank for a
few seconds every few minutes.
It is the sound of the metal ball inside the "Vibration Sensor".
It is the sound of the motor that moves the fl ap.
It is because of the rotation of the fan.
It is because the airflow rate is controlled automatically. When
the humidity changes, the airfl ow rate may switch to "High".
If it becomes a distraction, switch to your preferred airfl ow rate.

The humidifying performance will decrease when it is switched
to a weaker airfl ow rate.
The unit's parts have a smell when it is fi rst used.
Or the deodorizing performance of the deodorizing fi lter has de-
creased.
Clean the deodorizing fi lter.
Or there are odors clinging to the humidifying fi lter. Clean the hu-
midifying fi lter.
The unit's interior is lined with control circuits.
This causes the unit to become warm.
Solution
Refer to "Pre-filter" in "Cleaning" when cleaning
the pre-fi lter.

Refer to "Replacing the Filter Assembly / Deodor-
izing Filter" when replacing the fi lter.
Depending on the location or usage, the replace-
ment interval may be shorter.
Refer to "When the Filter Cleaning Indicator
Comes On" in "Cleaning" when cleaning the hu-
midifying fi lter.

Switch airfl ow rate and quick cycle.
