Description
Restore default settings.
Select the source function.
Select the measure function.*
Set the source range.**
Disable 4-wire remote sensing.
Select the front-panel or rear-panel terminals to
match your test setup.
Program the source value.
Turn on the source output.
Read the actual output of the Model 2461 using
the external DMM.
Calculate the shunt current.
Have the Model 2461 measure and return its
source output.
Select the digitize current function.*
Set aperture to match sample rate.
Set 1000 readings/s (1 mS aperture).
Digitize one sample when triggered.
Return the digitized reading of the source output.
Turn off the source output.
Calculate the difference between step 7 and
step 10.
Calculate the difference between step 10 and
step 11.
Calculate the difference between step 10 and
step 16.
Compare the result of step 18 to the source
specification.
Compare the result of step 19 to the measure
specification.
Compare the result of step 20 to the digitizer
specification.
