their hexadecimal rather than their ASCII values. The table below shows the hexadecimal
equivalent of each ASCII character:

values defined in this section are the variables used in the fields of the command
— Input video format:
0 = No signal (for query only)
— Auto-Image, blanking, freeze or executive mode status:
0 = disabled
1 = enabled
— Horizontal start value: from 0 to 255 (the midpoint of 128 is the default value in the
