Description
To enable or disable using static source ports for the SIP
signaling. When Konftel 800 has a configured SIP account,
it can handle firewalls differently. The options are:
• Use static port number for outgoing TPC and TLS
packets. The configuration parameter
<use_static_source_port> is set to true in the
configuration file. You must configure the
<source_port> parameter to specify the source ports
of TPC and TLS packets. By default, the source ports
are the following:
• UDP/TCP: 5060.
• TLS: 5061.
• Use ephemeral source ports for outgoing TPC and TLS
packets. Here the configuration parameter
<use_static_source_port> is set to false in the
configuration file.
By default, the setting is disabled.
To configure this parameter, only use the configuration
file.
To enable or disable the Interactive Connectivity
Establishment (ICE). ICE provides various techniques to
allow SIP-based VoIP devices to successfully traverse the
variety of firewalls that might exist between the devices. The
protocol provides a mechanism for the endpoints to identify
the most optimal path for the media traffic to follow.
By default, the setting is disabled.
