Turning on the Medium-voltage Power Supply

Items to be checked before turning on the medium-voltage power supply:
Confirm that the power supply voltage is correct.
Confirm that the Matrix converter main circuit terminals (input terminals R, S, and T and output terminals
U, V, and W) are correctly connected.
Make sure that the motor is not connected to a mechanical system (No-load status).
Items to be checked after turning on the medium voltage power supply:
Measure the input voltage of each power cell.
If the input voltage exceeds the power cell rated input voltage of 630 VAC, switch the transformer tap set-
ting for main circuit and recheck the input voltage.
DANGER
Use the Digital Operator to confirm the input power supply voltage U1-90.
Confirm that the Digital Operator displays the Matrix converter as being in normal status.
Name
The code indicating the FSDrive-MX1S
capacity is set before shipment. Normally, the
initial setting can be left unchanged. Confirm
the setting in Advanced Programming Mode.
