collision, serious personal injury
and vehicle damage. The vehicle
should be tightly secured with
chains or steel cables before it is
transported.
Don't use substitutes (ropes,
leather straps, canvas webbing,
etc.) that can be cut by sharp edges
underneath the towed vehicle.
Towing from the Front-
MhMe Hook-up
Before hooking up to a tow truck, be
sure to read
all
the information on
Towing Y a w Pontiac earlier in
this
section.
Do not tow with sling-type equipment
or
fascia damage will occur. Use wheel-
lift or car carrier equipment. Additional
ramping may be required for car carrier
equipment. Use safety chains
and
wheel
straps.
1. Attach T-hook chains on both sides
in
the slotted holes in the b o t t o m of
the frame rails, about 2 feet behind
the front wheels.
