The REF Output connectors can be used to provide an external reference signal
(or the optional OCXO reference signal) from the R&S FSMR3 to other devices
that are connected to this instrument.
Various connectors are provided for different reference signals:

IF Output

The female BNC connector can be used to output the intermediate frequency (IF).

5.2.10 Video Output

The female BNC connector can be used to provide video output (1 V).
For details, see the user manual.

Aux. Port

A 9-pole SUB-D male connector used to provide low-voltage TTL
control signals (max. 5 V). The output signals can be used to con-
trol external devices. This connector is provided by the "Additional
Interfaces" option R&S FSMR3-B5.
