Your DVR supports to be remotely accessed via network, so that you can remotely control the DVR for
monitoring, recording, playing back or making backup.
There are 3 modes of network setup in DVR:
1.DHCP:
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is an auto configuration protocol used on IP networks.
2.PPPoE:
The Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) is a network protocol for encapsulating Point-to-Point
Protocol (PPP) frames inside Ethernet frames.
3.Static:
Internet Protocol addresses are assigned to a host either a new at the time of booting, or permanently by fixed
configuration of its hardware or software.
Persistent configuration is also known as using a static IP address.
In contrast, in situations when the computer's IP address is assigned newly each time, this is known as using
a dynamic IP address.
Static IP addresses are manually assigned to a computer by an administrator.
The exact procedure varies according to platform.
This contrasts with dynamic IP addresses, which are assigned either by the computer interface or host
software itself.
The DVR supports 3 common types of Internet Services:
DHCP (Cable Modem),
PPPoE (DSL Modem)
Static IP (Fiber Optics).
If you have any question of internet, please contact your local ISP (Internet Service Provider).
