PROBLEM
The motor-sweeper fails to pick up large
particles of dirt or leaves traces of dirt behind
Sweeper leaves dust on floor or dust comes
out from side flaps
Dust builds up in filter compartment
Sweeper fails to pick up paper, leaves, etc.
Motor-sweeper throws dirt forwards
Rapid brush wear
Main brush noisy
Brushes do not rotate

CAUSE
Working speed too fast
Brush pressure too light
Brush worn
Bristles bent, or string or wire, etc., entangled
in brush
Suction fan not working
Filters clogged
Flaps badly adjusted or worn/ damaged
Filter cartridges loose
Filter cartridge seals missing
Filter cartridges broken
Front flap lifting mechanism not working
Front flap broken
Excessive brush pressure
Floor very abrasive
Material wound around brush
Brush drive belts broken
Fuses faulty
Bin seal broken
Bin too full
Drive motor cables disconnected
Bypass lever open
Remote switch faulty
Fuse faulty
Oil missing in circuit
Oil filter dogged
Wheel motor faulty
Pump faulty
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Reduce working speed
Adjust brush pressure (trace on floor)
Lower or replace brush
Remove string or wire
Switch on suction fan.
Clean filters.
Check flaps and replace if damaged.
Tighten filters
Replace seals
Replace filter cartridges
Repair flap mechanism
Replace front flap
Reduce brush pressure (narrower trace)
