pump.
7. Keep work area clean, uncluttered, and
properly lighted.
8. Keep visitors at a safe distance from the
work area.
9. Make the workshop child-proof.
NOTICE: This unit is not designed for
applications involving salt water or brine! Use
with salt water or brine will void warranty.
Ch. 4 - Installation
DANGER: Risk of electrical shock.
When installing, pump must be
unplugged. See electrical hazard instructions
on Page 2.
1. Set the pump on clean and firm ground
in at least 51mm (2") of water.
2. Connect the discharge line with the
fittings provided.
3. If the discharge hose could freeze it must
be emptied to prevent damage on the
pump.

sure all the snaps catch when reinstalling it.
Ch. 5 - Operation
DANGER: Risk of electrical shock.
Do not handle the pump with wet
hands or while standing on a wet or damp
surface or in water. See electrical hazard
instructions on Page 2.

Before attempting to check why a
pump has stopped operating, disconnect the
electrical power to the unit. See General
Information, Nos. 1A to 1G, on Page 2.
1. The shaft seal is water cooled and
lubricated. To avoid seal damage, never
run the pump dry.
2. This pump will not remove all water. On
a flat surface, it will pump down to
within 3.1 mm (1/8") of the pumping
surface.
WARNING: When the pump is running
continuously, keep it submerged to
prevent overheating.
3. This pump has an anti-airlock hole
(see Figure 1). Keep it clean for proper
operation.
