Changing the engine oil, Briggs &
Stratton
The engine oil should be changed the first
time after 5 hours running time. It should then
be changed after every 50 hours of running
time.
With heavy loads or high temperatures
replace the oil after every 25 hours of driving.

WARNING!
Engine oil can be very hot if it is
drained directly after stopping the
engine. Allow the engine to cool
somewhat first.
1.
Place a container under the engine''s
drain plug, which is located on the left-
hand side of the engine.
2.
Remove the dipstick and drain plug.
3.
Let the oil run out into the container.
4.
Fit the drain plug and tighten it.
5.
Fill with oil up to the FULL mark on the
dipstick. Oil is filled using the same hole
as the dipstick. See "Checking the
engine's oil level" above for filling
instructions.
The engine holds 1.4 litres (1.5 USqt) of
oil.
6.
Run the engine warm, then check that
there is no leakage from the oil plug.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Used engine oil is a health hazard and
legislation prohibits disposal on the ground
or in nature; it should always be disposed
of at a workshop or appropriate disposal
location. Avoid skin contact; wash with
soap and water in case of spills.
