The electric kettle is intended for heating and boiling potable water . It must not be used
for heating other liquids or foodstuffs .
The appliance can be installed and used safely only if the rules contained in this manual
are followed . The appliance is intended for indoor use for private purposes .

1. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years old and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved . Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised . Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years .
2. The appliance may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or by individuals lacking experience and knowledge, provided that they
are supervised or use the appliance safely, in compliance with the user's manual,
and understand the hazards present .
3. Warning! Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling .
4. Warning! if the kettle is overfiled, boiling water may be ejected. Position the lid so
that steam is directed away from the handle .

6. The housing may become hot during use and needs time to cool down .
