Introduction

The LBB4100/00 and LBB4100/00D Central Control
Unit (CCU) are intended for use in PC controlled
systems. However, they may also be used in stand-alone
systems.
Note
The 'D' version is CSA/UL approved and has a
modified power supply and a modified mains
cord.

8.2 Controls, connectors and
indicators
8.2.1 Front view
The front of the CCU (see figure 8.1) contains the
following:
1 Mains on/off switch - A switch to switch on and
off the CCU.
2 Menu display - A 2x16 character LCD display
gives information about the CCU. It is also used to
configure the system (see section 8.5).
3 Menu button - A turn-and-push button to operate
the menu in combination with the display
(see section 8.5).
4 Monitoring headphones output - A 3.5 mm
jack socket to connect headphones for audio
monitoring purposes.
