26.4 Control capacity

The built-in control facilities of the CCU (LBB4100/00)
are capable of controlling up to a maximum of 245
active units and an unlimited number of passive units.

26.5 Power capacity

26.5.1 Introduction
Each unit in the system consumes a certain amount of
power. The total power consumption of all units in the
DCN may not be higher than the total supplied power.
26.5.2 Power consumption
See table 26.1 for an overview of the power
consumption of the units in the DCN.

26.5.3 Power supplies
The only units that can supply power to the DCN are
the CCU (LBB4100/00) and the extension power supply
(LBB4106/00). See figure 26.1 and figure 26.2. The
power supplied by the CCU includes the power
supplied to the optical network.
