Introduction

Features and Functions

The CHV-RSS is a remote slab sensor ideally suited for concrete slab,
under floor or outdoor mounting. It is an extremely accurate temperature
sensor potted within a stainless steel sleeve.
The CHV-RSS joins the inventory of Crestron
which include the CHV-RTS remote temperature sensor and the
CHV-RTHS remote temperature/humidity sensor.
Functional Summary
These sensors connect to the Crestron family of remote controlled
thermostat products, which includes two models: CHV-TSTAT and
CHV-THSTAT series. These thermostats are available with and without a
humidity sensor (all contain a temperature sensor).
Thermostat firmware version 1.xx supports two optional remote sensors.
Thermostat firmware version 2.xx and later supports four optional remote
sensor inputs, in any combination, for each thermostat. Firmware version
2.xx and later is required if you want to use the CHV-RSS as a slab
