Lavagem do Filtro de Ar –

Retirar o filtro de ar do motor, tomando o
devido cuidado de não danificá-lo. Pro-
teger a entrada da admissão de ar para
que impurezas não entrem para dentro
do motor. Lavar o filtro de ar com óleo
diesel comum, até remover toda a poeira
e impurezas. Enxaguar o filtro com água
limpa. Pulverizar óleo lubrificante (o
mesmo do motor) sobre toda a superfície
filtrante, ou se não houver pistola pulve-
rizadora, imergir o filtro em uma vasilha
com óleo lubrificante e depois sacudi-lo
para tirar o excesso. Retire a proteção
usada para evitar a entrada de impure-
zas e objetos estranhos. Reinstale o filtro.
Não funcione o motor sem o filtro
de ar instalado corretamente.

Quite el filtro de aire del motor, teniendo el
debido cuidado para no dañarlo. Proteger
la entrada de aire para impedir la entrada
de impurezas en el motor. Lavar el filtro
de aire con aceite diesel común, hasta
eliminar todo el polvo y las impurezas.
Enjuagar el filtro de aire con agua limpia.
Pulverizar aceite lubricante (el mismo
aceite lubricante utilizado en el motor) en
el conjunto del filtro, o si no hay una pisto-
la, sumerja el filtro de aire en un recipiente
de aceite, entonces agítelo para eliminar
el exceso. Quite la protección utilizada
para evitar la entrada de impurezas en
el motor. Vuelva a instalar el filtro de aire.
No encienda el motor sin el filtro
de aire instalado correctamente.

Maritime Applications
Remove the air filter from the engine,
taking the due care to do not damage it.
Protect the air entrance to prevent the
entry of impurities into the engine. Wash
the air filter with common oil diesel, until
remove all the dust and impurities. Rinse
the air filter with clean water. Pulverize
lubricant oil (the same lubricant oil used
in the engine) on the whole filter, or if
there is not a spray gun, dip the air filter
into a bowl of oil then shake it to remove
the excess. Remove the protection used
to prevent the entry of impurities into the
engine. Reinstall the air filter.
Do not turn on the engine without
the air filter properly installed.
