STAGE 29 29.1 the rear panel of the radiator 29B on top of the main body 29A, which has a linchpin on the upper side. Pay attention: the bottom of the rear panel has two holes that are partly in the raised edge.
Page 5
STAGE 29 29.5 the whole piece over and find the two linchpins on the water pump 16B, which stick out over the back of the engine. Slide the upper radiator hose 29E onto the linchpin at the top, and the lower radiator hose 29F onto the linchpin on the side.
Page 6
STAGE 29 29.9 nsert a type EM screw in the hole on the outside of the front panel of the engine housing 28A, to secure it to the right panel 2 23B. 29.10 insert another type n the Other side EM screw to join the front panel 28A and the left panel 2 22B.

MIDDLE SECTION STAGE OF THE CHASSIS In this assembly session you will attach the middle section of the chassis to the front section you have already mounted on your model. PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 30A Middle section of the chassis LM Screws 2.3×4 mm (x 8)* * Some of the parts are spares.
Page 8
STAGE 30 30.1 the mount brackets for the crossbar in the engine housing 27C and 27D. Slide both brackets onto the corresponding linchpins in the front panel of the engine housing 28A: bracket 27C goes on the left side, and 27D on the right. 30.2 lAce the middle section of the chassis 30A on...
Page 9
STAGE 30 30.3 nsert two LM screws in the holes shown clearly in the illustration. USEFUL TIP Self-tapping screws are used to join the metal parts, like those of the chassis. If you encounter any difficulty in tightening them, take the screw out and remove any burrs.
Page 10
STAGE 30 30.5 insert another two type LM inAlly screws in the holes shown in the illustration. STAGE 30 FINAL RESULT You have now attached the middle section of the chassis to your model. Keep the piece in a safe place for when you need it in the following assembly stages.

REAR SECTION OF THE CHASSIS STAGE In this assembly session you will join the rear section of the chassis to your model. Follow our instructions carefully, using the illustrations to help you. PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 31A Rear section of the chassis KM Screws 1.7×4 mm (x 5)* 31B Jack mount bracket (x 2) LM Screws 2.3×4 mm (x 8)*...
Page 12
STAGE 31 31.1 the rear section of the chassis 31A on your work surface, as shown in the illustration. Put the first jack mount bracket 31B in position, making sure the two mounting holes coincide with those in the left crossbar. The hollow side of the bracket must face outward.
Page 13
STAGE 31 AN OVERVIEW Your model now includes the front and middle sections of the chassis 21A and 30A, which you have already joined together. In this assembly session, you will attach the rear section of the chassis 31A to these, completing the basic structure of your model.
Page 14
STAGE 31 31.4 insert another three type inAlly LM screws into the holes that are shown clearly in the illustration. Now that you have attached the rear section of the chassis, you have finally completed the basic structure of your model. Keep what you have built in a safe place.

ASSEMBLING STAGE THE EXHAUST PIPE In this assembly session you will join the parts of the central exhaust pipe system. PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 32A Central exhaust pipe (piece 1) 32B Central exhaust pipe (piece 2) AP Screws 1.7×4 mm (x 10)* * Some of the parts are spares.
Page 16
STAGE 32 32.1 the two pieces of the central exhaust pipe (32A and 32B) by clicking the respective elements into place. USEFUL TIP When you have to use a lot of screws to join two parts together, it is best to use a criss-cross tightening sequence, which consists of gradually tightening opposite screws alternately.
Page 17
STAGE 32 32.2 the completed piece on your work surface, making sure that piece 2 of the central exhaust pipe 32B faces upwards. Insert two pairs of type AP screws into the holes that are shown clearly in the illustration. 32.3 nsert another four type AP screws in the holes shown in...
