  • Page 3 THE LEFT DOOR STAGE WINDOW (I) In this assembly session you will be working on the left door window. Please follow our assembly instructions and accompanying illustrations carefully. PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 86A Chrome guide 86E Deflector mount bracket SP screws 1.2X3 mm (x 2) * 86B Chrome deflector trim Screwdriver TP screws 1.2X3 mm (x 5) *...
  • Page 4 STAGE 86 86.1 ttAch the chrome window guide 86A by aligning the holes with those on the inside of the left door 82A. Secure with four type CM screws. 86.2 ttAch the chrome deflector trim 86B to the corresponding guide on the inner section of the left door 84A.
  • Page 5 STAGE 86 86.3 rom the other side of the inner section of the left door 84A, insert two more type TP screws to finish securing the trim. 86.4 nsert the holed end of the knob 86D into the hole in the deflector glass 86C. The knob lever must be facing upwards.
  • Page 6 STAGE 86 86.6 the glass 86C in place and position the mount bracket 86E on the bottom linchpin. Secure the pieces to the left door 84A with a type DP screw. STAGE 86 FINAL RESULT You have finished working on the left door for now.

PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 87A Glass left door window 87F Window regulator cover plate BP screws 1.7X3X5 mm (x 3) * 87B Window crank 87G Window weatherstrips (x2)
  • Page 8 STAGE 87 87.1 the knob 87H to the left door window crank ttAch 87B and secure the pieces with a type GP screw. 87.2 the crank 87B into the hole on the inside of the nsert door, as shown in the illustration. From the outside of the 87.3 door, slide cog 1 87C onto the end of the handle.
  • Page 9 STAGE 87 87.5 a weatherstrip ttAch 87G to the window guide 86A. Attach the other weatherstrip to the top of the inner section of the door 84A. 87.6 the tab with the rectangular lign opening in the glass 87A with the linchpin on the end of cog 3 87E.

Secure the pieces with six type AM screws, and one type TP screw for the top of the window guide 86A. 87.8 ou cAn now test the window lift mechanism, which lifts and lowers the window by simply turning the crank.

  • Page 14 STAGE 88 88.4 inAllY insert the handle 88B into the holes above the lock. From the inside of the door panel, secure the handle with a type AP screw. STAGE 88 FINAL RESULT You have now attached the left door to the body of your model, and started assembling the right door.

PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 89A Inner frame of the right door 89D Bottom hinge (part 1) AP screws 2X4 mm (x 13) * 89B Top hinge (part 1) 89E Bottom hinge (part 2)
  • Page 16 STAGE 89 89.1 lAce the inner frame 89A onto the left door 88A, making sure all the holes are aligned. Secure the two pieces with four type AM screws. 89.2 the two parts of the top hinge (89B and 89C) and join them together using a type TM screw.
  • Page 17 STAGE 89 89.4 assemble the bottom hinge by joining part 1 89D and part 2 89E with a type UM screw. 89.5 ttAch the bottom hinge to the inside of the right door with two type AM screws.
  • Page 18 STAGE 89 89.6 attach the hinge mount plate 89F to the middle inAllY section of the body 61A, as shown in the illustration, using three type AM screws. STAGE 89 FINAL RESULT You have now attached the hinges to the right door and the corresponding mount plate to the car body.

  • Page 20 STAGE 90 90.1 the door lock system by sliding the spring 90C onto tArt Assembling the shorter end of the stem 90B; hold the two components together with your hands and move on to the next step. 90.2 the free end of the stem 90B into the nsert hole in the middle of the concave side of the lock 90D.
