  • Page 3 ASSEMBLING STAGE THE FIREWALL In the following assembly session you will prepare the firewall panel that you will then mount on your model. Follow our instructions carefully, using the illustrations to help you. PIECES FOR THIS STAGE PIECES FOR THIS STAGE 25A Firewall 25D Firewall grounding connector 25B Bonnet safety catches (x 2)
  • Page 4 STAGE 25.1 ttAch a bonnet safety catch 25B to the firewall 25A, ensuring the pieces face the same way as those in the illustration. Secure with one type CM screw. 25.2 ttAch the second bonnet safety catch 25B to the other side of the firewall.
  • Page 5 STAGE This illustration shows you where the firewall will go inside the model. It is a panel that separates the engine housing from the passenger compartment. Initially, its function was to prevent fire from spreading inside the passenger compartment in the event of a fire, which is no longer a danger in modern vehicles.

You will also mount the front wheel arch reinforcement plates. Secure the piece with two type CM to the battery, to the linchpin on the screws.

  • Page 14 STAGE 27 27.9 ttAch the right panel 2 of the engine housing 23B to the front right suspension dome 8H. First insert two AM screws into the holes shown in the illustration. Then align the front right control arm anchor bolt 27H, labelled with the letter R, with the remaining hole.

  • Page 18 STAGE HOW TO STORE THE PIECES It is advisable to store the unused pieces or partially assembled parts of your model in a box, kept in a safe place, where they cannot be damaged. You must also ensure that any wires or hoses maintain their correct position.
