Ensto eSmart Operating Instructions

Ensto eSmart is an easy-to-use monitoring and control system for new or existing properties. System ope-
ration is based on whether the occupants are present or away (Home, Safe at home, Away, Away long).
Devices connected to the eSmart can be programmed to operate accordingly. The system can be cont-
rolled locally using the local operating panel or the local button, or remotely through phone calls or text
messages. Five users can be specified as recipients of alarms, with rights to control the device remotely.
For example, the eSmart can be used to control a water supply valve, control the outdoor lighting with
a light-level sensor, temperature setback, car heating, and an outside temperature alarm, which can be
connected to e.g. heat pump shutdown during extremely cold weather. The eSmart has alarm inputs for
connecting different types of alarm systems. It can also monitor current energy consumption and the total
