Maintenance

WARNING
Improper execution of service work!
Injuries / damage to property!
All service work and particularly safety-
relevant work should only be performed
by qualified personnel.
Rexroth recommends that you contact
Rexroth Service in this case, see chapter
"16 Appendix" on page 96.
ErgoSpin/ CC-ErgoSpin
The hand-held nutrunners have undergone
fatigue testing for one million tightening cycles
(2-level tightening process where nuts are
tightened using the maximum torque) and they
are maintenance-free.
Output drives
The output drives of the ErgoSpin/CC-ErgoSpin
hand-held nutrunners have undergone fatigue
testing for one million tightening cycles (2-level
tightening process where nuts are tightened using
the maximum torque) and they are maintenance-
free. To increase the operating life of the output
drives, we recommend preventive maintenance
by Bosch Rexroth AG in Murrhardt, Germany,
after these cycles have been completed.
ErgoSpin connecting cable
The connecting cables are maintenance-free for
500 plugging cycles, see section
"9.3 Maintenance schedule" on page 84.
The angle of turn has an impact on the service life
of the freely rotating angle plug. The rotary plugs
have undergone fatigue testing for 500,000
rotation cycles with an angle of turn of ± 90° from
neutral position. At an angle of turn of ± 150°
from neutral position, the service life is reduced
to < 100,000 rotation cycles.
