p Programs
With the programs you can prepare dishes very
Pr ogr amma's
easily. You select a program and the appliance adopts
the optimum settings for you.
To achieve good results, the cooking compartment should not be
too hot. Allow the cooking compartment to cool down and only
then start the programme.

Form

Observe the mold manufacturer's instructions.
Suitable shapes
Use heat-resistant molds up to 300 °C.
Forms of glass or glass-ceramic are the most suitable.
The glass lid allows the grill to do its job and gives the
meat a nice, crispy crust.
Frying pans made of stainless steel are only suitable to a
limited extent. The glossy surface reflects the heat
radiation very strongly. The dish will brown less and the
meat will be less cooked. If you are using a stainless
steel frying pan, remove the lid at the end of the
program. Gratin the meat on grill setting 3 for a further
8 to 10 minutes.
If you use frying pans made of enamelled steel, cast
iron or die-cast aluminum, the food will brown from
below. Add some more liquid.
Tip:
If the meat sauce is too light or too dark, add less
or more liquid next time.
Unsuitable Forms:
Shapes made of light, shiny aluminum,

plastic handles.
Size of the mold:
The meat should cover the bottom of the mold for about two
thirds. This way you get nice roasting juice.
The distance between the meat and the lid must be
at least 3 cm. The meat may expand during roasting.
Prepare dish
Use fresh food, preferably at refrigerator
temperature.
Tip:
Very lean meat stays more tender by putting bacon
strips on it.
Weigh the dish. You need to know the weight to be able
to set it. Always set the higher weight that immediately
follows.
Place the mold on the grid. Always place the mold in
the unheated interior.
Programs
When the meat is ready, it can remain in the switched-off,
closed cooking compartment for another 10 minutes. Then
the moisture can distribute itself better.
The weight can be set in a range between 0.5 kg and
2.5 kg.
Note:
The weight range has been deliberately kept
limited. For very large dishes, there are often no
suitable shapes available and the
cooking result would no longer be correct.
