30 5. Operation
Manual temperature compensation
The manual temperature compensation only influences the
reading if a pH probe without a temperature sensor is con-
nected. The instrument can therefore be adjusted to the
temperature of the measurement medium.
This function is only available with a connected BNC module
(pH3) if a pH probe without temperature sensor is connect-
ed. The temperature can then be adapted to the temper-
ature of the medium being measured.
1.
Open manual temperature compensation mode:
Increase value:
f
values quickly.
2.
Change setting direction:
Lower value:
f
ues quickly.
3.
Finish setting:
-
All segments light up briefly and the instrument will change
to the measurement mode.
Finish measurement
1.
Switch off instrument: Keep
2.
Clean off the pH probe with low concentration soap water
followed by tap water (water temperature should be below
40 °C).
3.
Insert probe in the storage cap.
The probe tip must be immersed in the electrolyte gel.
Keep electrolyte gel clean.
