6.4 Disinfecting the probe
The measuring instrument should not be exposed to disinfectant
for an excessive period of time. Using the TopSafe protective
case can reduce the risk of incompatibility.
1.
Wet a paper towel with disinfectant.
2.
Gently dab the probe with the disinfectant, avoid rubbing.
3.
Ideally, regenerate the probe in electrolyte gel for 12 hours
before carrying out another measurement. (Using alcoholic
disinfectants removes water from the glass membrane)
4.
After each disinfection, carry out calibration with the buffer
solution. (see 5.5 Calibrating the instrument)
6.5 Changing the module
The instrument must be newly calibrated if a module is
changed (See 5.5 Calibrating instrument)!
Instrument must be switched off. Plug contacts in the instrument
should not be touched!
1.
Unscrew the screws at the back of the instrument.
2.
Remove module and attach new module.
There must be rubber sealing rings available for the screws.
Check that the sealing rings are in their correct position.

3.
