Angle- and depth adjustment of the crank position

If your Attitude is equipped with the optional angle- and depth
adjustment,
you can adjust the angle and the length of the frame using a
hinge and a telescopic tube on the upper part of the frame.

Adjusting the angle of the frame (Fig.7.9):

• Loosen the 4 allen screws (B, 2 on each side)
• Whilst holding the upper part of the frame (A)
• Adjust the upper half of the frame to the desired angle and
hold
• Tighten all 4 allen screws (B) evenly with a torque of 12Nm

Adjusting the depth of the frame (Fig.7.10):

• Loosen the allen screw (B)
• Extend or insert the telescopic tube (A) to the Desired length
• Tighten the allen screw with a torque of 20Nm

Adjusting the chain-tension (Fig.7.11)

Adjusting the angle and/or the depth has an impact on the
tension of the chain. Please check chain-tension and extend or
shorten the chain if necessary (additional chain-links included in
delivery).
On the Attitude manual equipped with 8spd hub-gearing and on
the Attitude Junior, it´s possible to adjust the chain tension
within a certain range using the chain adjuster mounted to the
right hand side dropout.
• To tension the chain, loosen the allen screw (A) and slide the
pulley (B) upwards or downwards until the correct tension of
the chain is achieved. Hold the pulley and tighten the allen
screw (A) with a torque of 7Nm.
The chain adjuster can compensate a certain range of
adjustment, but not the full range of adjustability. Therefore, an
additional piece of chain with a quick-lock is included in delivery.
You can extend your chain without tools by simply opening the
quicklock (A) which is already in your chain.
