E650 meters are provided with a liquid crystal display (LCD).
The display can be provided with background lighting for easier reading
(optional). This is switched on by pressing one of the display buttons and is
extinguished automatically after a short time if no further button is pressed.
The basic layout shows all the indication possibilities of the display.

8 12 arrow symbols for status information (e.g. tariffs)
Shows always the sum of the three phases:
Indicates for combi-meters ZMD300CT always the sum of the three phases (not
used for active energy meters ZMD300AT).
Indicates for combi-meters ZMD300CT in which quadrants the present
measurement is made (not used for active energy meters ZMD300AT):
positive active energy direction (imported from power
company)
negative active energy direction (exported to power
company)
negative active energy direction of individual phases
(second arrow flashes).
