5. System Requirements

5.1 Console

• DisplayPort compatible monitor capable of the highest possible resolution in the installation
Note: For multi-display installations, multiple monitors are required. See 7.3.3 Multi-Display Installation for details.
• USB mouse
• USB keyboard
• Speakers (optional)

5.2 Computers

• A DisplayPort card or built-in DisplayPort
Notes:
• The quality of the display is affected by the quality of the DisplayPort card. For best results, we recommend you purchase a
high-quality product.
• For multi-display installations, multiple monitors are required. See 7.3.3 Multi-Display Installation for details.
• USB-A port
• Audio ports (optional)

5.3 Cables

• Only custom USB DisplayPort KVM cable sets, which are specifically designed to work with this switch, may be
used to link to the computers (two cable sets are provided)
Note: The quality of the display is affected by the quality and length of the cables. If additional cable sets are needed, please
contact your dealer to purchase the appropriate ones for your switch.
• For multi-display installations, standard USB-A to USB-B cables and standard DisplayPort cables are also required
Note: The B024-DPU08 and B024-DPU16 supports speaker ports only. Do not connect the microphone connector from the
KVM cable sets.
