By means of the gas valve (5), the bladder is charged with nitrogen to the specific
gas charge pressure p
a gas valve body (5.3) and a gas valve support (5.4). The gas valve support is
firmly integrated into the gas bladder.
The type cap (6) contains the technical data and features of the bladder-type
accumulator.
The holding nut (7) serves to fix the bladder and the type cap. In order to protect
the gas valve, a protective sleeve (8) is provided on the gas port.
More detailed information on operating conditions, port dimensions and limits of
performance is given in the data sheet RE 50170.
4.2

Identification of the bladder-type accumulator

The bladder-type accumulator can be identified with the help of its type cap. The
operation of the bladder-type accumulator is only admissible, when the type cap
is installed and fully legible.
The following examples shows the type cap of a bladder-type accumulator:
