Remove the battery:
1.
Disconnect the battery cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Remove the six Phillips M2.0×4.0 screws (2) that secure the battery to the keyboard/top cover.
3.
Remove the battery (3).
To insert the battery, reverse the removal procedures.
