Before removing the fan, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the bottom cover
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the fan:
1. Disconnect the fan cable (1) from the system board.
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×4.0 screws (2) that secure the fan to the system board.
3. Remove the fan (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the fan.
