Award BIOS Description
Description
BIOS can automatically detect the CPU model,
therefore this item is shown only.
CPU frequency should be set according to the CPU
type. For processors with 66MHz FSB, you can
choose from 200MHz (66X3) to 533MHz(66X8) or
466MHz (66X7) to 800MHz(66x12). For processors
with 100MHz FSB, you can select from 300MHz
(100X3) to 800MHz(100X8) or 700MHz (100X7) to
1200MHz(100X12). For processors with 133MHz
FSB, you can select from 400MHz(133X3)to1064MHz
(133X8 ) or 933MHz( 133X7 ) to 1600MHz( 133X12 ).
The multiplier can be chosen from 3~8 or7~12.
The BIOS will detect the CPU type and show one
of the choices from 3 to 8 or 7 to 12. However,
the multiplier setting will not function for bus ratio
locked processor, only for bus ratio unlocked
processor.
Sets CPU/PCI Clock as default.
Select s CPU/PCI Clock manually.
Spd: enables Spread Spectrum to reduce EMI.
Spd off: disables Spread Spectrum.
Closes empty DIMM or PCI clock to reduce EMI.
Does not close empty DIMM or PCI clock.
