FAILURE CHECK TABLE

Turning on the main power
sectionalising switch of three-
phase and the auxiliary power
QS1-QF1-QF2 the signal lamps
HL1-HL2 does not light.
Pressing a running push button
(SH1/SH2 – (1→N/N→1) the
motor starts and stops almost
immediately and the lamp HL1 is
on.
When pressing the 1-N / N-1
push-buttons SH1/SH2 the motor
does not work, even if the control
box is well connected to the power
supply, but the lamp HL2 lighten.
With HL2 the light is continue.
Control box is well working but
the tap changer does not change
position.
During the changing operations
the signal lamps SH1-SH2-HL1-
HL2-HL4 do not work.
The motor blocks after the
correct position.

TROUBLE
Bad power supply on the three-
phase input.
The phase cyclic sense is wrong. Bring back the correct phases
The lever MOTOR/HANDLE is in
the position HANDLE.
The red emergency button is
pressed.
HV contact connected to the
transformer's high voltage bus-
coupler switch shows that the
bus-coupler switch is closed.
The motor protection switch QM1
is in position 0.
The selector LOCAL/REMOTE is in
position REMOTE.
The shafts between the bevel
gears and control box have not
been screwed properly.
The elastic pin has not been
assembled in the control box
shaft.
Lamps blown.
Hand-lever of brake is inside the
brake group.
POSSIBLE REASON REMEDY
Check the power mains of the
three-phase power supply.
cyclic sense by reversing 2 phases
of the three phase voltage and
repeat the manoeuvre.
Put the lever in the MOTOR position
Rotate lightly clock-wise direction
the red emergency button to
unclamp it.
Open the transformer's
voltage bus-coupler switch, so
the HV contact will allow the tap
changing operation
Press the black push-button on
QM1.
Turn the selector LOCAL/REMOTE
in position LOCAL.
Screw the shafts with the relative
fittings.
Place the elastic pin inside the
control box shaft.
Replace the blown lamps.
Remove the hand lever from the
brake group of the motor.
