1.3 Plotter Nomenclature

(1) Tool carrage .............Drves the cutter pen/pen/creasng tool to the forward/backward.
(2) Tool holder ................Holds the cutter pen/pen/creasng tool and drves t up/down.
(3) Pen staton ...............Holds a pen.
(4) Y bar .........................Holds the tool carrage; moves left/rght.
(5) Wrtng panel ............Cuttng/plottng/creasng s performed here.
(6) Control panel ............Used to set and use the plotter's varous functons.
(7) USB nterface connector
............................Used to connect the plotter to a computer va the USB nterface.
(8) RS-232C nterface connector
............................Used to connect the plotter to a computer va the RS-232C nterface.
(9) AC lne nlet ..............Connect one end of the power cable here and the other end to an electrcal socket.
(10) Power swtch ...........Controls the on/off status of the power supply to the plotter.
(11) Pen-sensng rubber strp
............................Judgment of whether or not a pen s mounted s performed on ths strp.
