Replacing the Pentium III SBC card

Introduction
Use system diagnostic tools and refer to error codes to determine whether
the SBC card should be replaced. This section provides instructions for
replacing the SBC card.
Requirements
Before replacing the SBC card, gather the following tools:
one Phillips-head screwdriver
one antistatic wrist strap
the replacement SBC card
cable labels
To replace the SBC card

1 Power down the server.
2 Disconnect the power cord.
3 Remove the top cover.
4 Free and label all connectors from the SBC card.
5 Loosen and remove the screw located at the top of the I/O bracket.

Risk of explosion
The SBC has a lithium battery installed. If you are discarding
the SBC, dispose of used batteries according to the
manufacturer's instructions. Replacement of the battery with
an incorrect type also raises the risk of an explosion.
