Technical Information
The "Soak" LED flashes rapidly.
The program is stopped, the water inlet valve is closed, and the drain pump is
switched on for 120 seconds.
Cause:
Imbalance sensor (ADS) can't be detected by the electronic.
Note:
The imbalance sensor is integrated into the power electronic (ELP).
Remedy:
Test the imbalance sensor in service mode.

W 4802: See Section 070-4.6.
W 4800: See Section 070-4.5.

F 53 Speed Sensor (Tachogenerator)

Symptoms:
In the operating mode, the display indicates: Technical fault.
The "Rinse" LED flashes rapidly.
The drum or the drive is blocked; the drive does not start or is switched off
after 1.5 seconds.
This incident is repeated during two reverse tumble cycles.
There is an immediate stop in the spin cycle.
It is possible that the drive works again sporadically after a cooldown phase.
The program is stopped, the water inlet valve is closed, and the drain pump is
switched on for 120 seconds.
Cause:
The tachogenerator is defective.
The power electronic (ELP) does not receive any usable alternating signal
from the tachogenerator.
Remedy:
Check the tachogenerator; refer to Section 060-3.1.
Cause:
Defective drive.
The power electronic (ELP), via the tachogenerator, detects a significant
difference in the spin speed between the target number and the actual
number.
Remedy:
Check the drive; refer to Section 060-3.1.

F 56 No Spin Action

Symptom:
Final spin speed is less than 400 rpm, when the target spin speed is at least
450 rpm.
Fault detection: Tachogenerator.
