Dismantling Instructions

This document provides detailed instructions for the dismantling procedure. Follow the
instructions in the order they are presented.
2.1

Switch Components

Switch systems are comprised of:
1. Main board
2. CPU board with battery –– Not found on unmanaged switches
3. Fan unit
4. Harnesses
5. Power Supply Unit (PSU)
6. Cover
7. Secondary boards

NOTE: The figures in this guide are based on SX6018/SX6025/SX6036/SX1036
SwitchX switch systems, but apply to MetroX switch systems as well, despite their
different front panel.
