Bolts not tightened.
Bolt hole elongated or oversized
Locknut worn out.
Improper Drawbar.
Excessive load
Improper Adjustment
Friction plates worn
Oil on friction plates
Oil leaking past piston ring,
a small amount of leakage is
normal
Cylinder wall scored or pitted

Tighten bolts to 600 ft. lbs.
Replace Bushing or Blade Carrier.
Replace Locknut.
Add attaching Plate to all 3-Point
drawbars. See section on attaching
mower to tractor.
Machine is overloaded, reduce
ground speed and material intake
Adjust Springs
Replace plates
Replace plates
On main lift cylinder use depth stop
to carry. If leakage is excessive
replace piston rings.
Replace cylinder
