Maker mode: this is used to scan the objects with no geometric features. Flat planes like a
board or symmetrical objects like balls or bowls are usually suitable to this mode. Please
note that when you paste the makers to the objects surface, the markers should not be
evenly distributed because the scanner must identify the unique marker pattern consisting
of a cluster of adjacent makers.
Face mode: This mode is especially used to scan live human face. The exposure and gain
are set according to face skin reflectivity.
Body mode: This mode is especially used to scan live human body. Working distance is
���mm further than the other modes. The exposure and gain are set accordingly.
Dark mode: This mode is used to scan dark-surface objects like black clothes, black box.
Please note that it does not mean all black objects can be successfully scanned because
deep dark objects like leather shoes are hard to scan as they absorb the lights.
Parameter Adjusting
Camera Parameter
For color camera (left upper preview window), it' s better to use 'auto' to obtain proper
image quality, avoiding over or under exposure.
For IR camera (left lower preview window), we recommend that you switch to Auto Mode
first, confirm that there are more areas displayed, and then switch to Manual Mode.
Keep "Auto" all the time may cause stuck.Make sure the infrared image(left down window) & point cloud
image(Central main window) are identical. If the point cloud(Central main window) is empty, click HOME icon
