5.6.1

Filling tyres with air

1. Unscrew and remove the plastic cap on the valve of the tire.
2. Connect the compressed air nozzle to the valve and adjust the
tyre pressure to the correct level.
WARNING!
The recommended tire pressure for both front and rear tires is 200–250
kPa (2–2.5 bar). Overfilling tires can cause an explosion.
Incorrect pressure may result in less stability and manoeuvrability. Regularly
check that the air pressure is correct.
5.6.2

Inner tube replacement

1. Chock up the wheelchair so that the wheel turns freely and
carefully release the air.
2. Remove the tire from the wheel rim.
3. Replace the inner tube.
4. Put the tire back on the wheel rim and fill to the correct air
pressure.
