5. Detach the battery connections. Lift the batteries out of the
chassis.
6. Fit the two new batteries. Place the batteries with the poles
facing the outer sides of the chassis. Reattach the battery
connections.
(See also the sticker on the inside of the front chassis cover.)
7. Fit the batteries' fixing bars. They are fixed with two knobs each.
8. Refit the chassis covers. On a wheelchair without an power seat
lift, refit the seat. Switch the automatic main fuse to ON.
WARNING!
Use safety gloves and safety goggles
Always use safety gloves and safety goggles when working with batteries.
Exercise caution when using metallic tools or other objects while working
with batteries. Batteries are heavy and charged devices and must be
handled with great caution. Failure to follow any of these warnings could
cause a short circuit, explosion, property damage and/or bodily harm.
