Getting to know your wheelchair
3.5.5.2 Extension
The distance between the footplate and the seat on the wheelchair is
adjustable. Press the upper surface of the symbol to move the
footplate out and press the lower surface to retract it.
This makes it easy to set the leg length for the user and you have the

chance to stretch your legs while driving.
When the extension is fully extended, the wheelchair drives more
softly outdoors. When the extension is retracted, driving is easier
indoors.
WARNING!
Make sure that there is nothing stuck between the chassis and the footplate
when the length of the wheelchair is reduced. There is a risk of personal
injury.
The seat rotation must not be used when the wheelchair is on a sloping
surface. There is a risk of personal injury.
