16 - MAINTENANCE
16.11 - Replace water
flow sensor's o-rings
In some geographic area there could be
aggressive water that could damage the
water flow sensor's o-rings causing leaks.
To prevent damages caused by this leak,
it is suggested to replace the water flow
sensor's o-rings every two years. Operate
as follow (see Figure 16-16):
1. follow the steps in Section 16.2 to gain
access to the internal components;
2. close isolation valves of system;
3. follow the steps in Section 16.9 to drain
the water from the appliance;
4. disconnect the cable from the flow meter;
5. rotate counterclockwise of a quarter of a
turn item "A";
6. pull out item "B";
7. remove o-rings "C" and "D" from their
sites and replace them;
NOTICE! Use only original parts. Failure to
comply with this notice could cause water
leakage and consequent property damage.
8. Once new o-ring are repositioned wet
them with water or vaseline grease;
NOTICE! Take care attention to the
dimensions of the o-rings: item "D" has a
larger diameter than item "C".
9. reinstall item "B" on its site;
10. reinstall item "A" on its site and turn it a
quarter of a turn clockwise to avoid item
"B" pushed out by water pressure;
11. open isolation valves, pressurize the
system and check for any leakage from
removed parts.
