Checking and cleaning the
water inlet filter and replacing
the gasket
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage.
Turn off the water intake tap after
each use, before cleaning the water
intake fi lter or replacing the seal. Oth-
erwise there is a risk of water damage.
Close the tap before cleaning the fi l-
ter or replacing the gaskets.
Check and clean fi lters and gaskets-
regularly.
Replace defect fi lters and gaskets im-
mediately. Never operate the appli-
ance without fi lters and gaskets.
In the water inlet, the appliance contains fil-
ters that prevent foreign particles from pene-
trating the appliance.
• Check and clean the filter every 30 wash
cycles or if the appliance is not getting
enough water despite the tap being open
completely.
1. Switch off the appliance, take the mains
plug out of the socket, and close the
valve.
2. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
valve.

3. Use tweezers or a pair of pliers to pull the
water inlet filter (24) with gasket (25) out
Care and maintenance
of the union nut (26). Rinse the water inlet
filter (24) under fresh water and clean with
a small, soft brush if necessary.
4. If the water inlet filter (24) or gasket (25)
are defective, replace them with new
ones.
5. Re-insert the water inlet filter (24) and
gasket (25), and screw the water inlet
hose back onto the valve.
6. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the
appliance.
7. Use tweezers or a pair of pliers to remove
the filter (27) from the connection for
the water inlet hose (16). Rinse the fil-
ter (27) under fresh water and clean with
a small, soft brush if necessary.
8. Re-insert the filter (27) and screw the wa-
ter inlet hose back onto the connection for
water inlet hose.
9. Open the valve to check whether the wa-
ter inlet hose and connections are sealed.

Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to scalding caused by soapy water.
Allow soapy water to cool before re-
moving the lint trap.
