The dimension of the 486MIS system board is designed to fit perfectly in a PC/XT (or PC/AT) standard case. To build a complete high performance system based on the 486MIS system board, the following equipment are needed: A chassis with dimension similar to PC/XT/AT standard chassis.
The first and last physical SCSI devices on the SCSI cable must have terminators installed. All other SCSI devices must have terminators removed. If the 486MIS SCSI port is not at either end of the SCSI bus, terminators RT1, RT2 and RT3 (located next to the SCSI connector) must be removed.

Int 13 calls are routed through the 486MIS SCSI BIOS instead of the Int 13 code in aspi2dos (This only applies to SCSI disks installed with the 486MIS SCSI BIOS.) The /i option is rarely used and is intended for debugging purposes.
486MIS SCSI port will default to the jumper setting. The default value is 11. If you change the IRQ jumper(s) from the default setting of 11, you must also enter a corresponding /q option for the device=aspi2dos line in the config.sys file.
