correctly located and the screws fully tightened.
Location for the bead and tab on the outer radii of the diaphragm i s provided by a
location channel at the top of the main body.
When refitting the suction chamber cover, place i t occurotely so that the screw holes
line up with those i n the main body, as this w i l l prevent any disturbance of the located
diaphragm.

The air valve rod and gvide must be kept clean and should not be handled unduly
corrosion i s to be avoided.

Chamber Removal
To prevent the leakage of firel from the float chamber, a rubber
between the jet cover and the float chamber spigot boss. Care should be taken when
removing the float chamber to avoid domage to the faces and f l a t s .

DESCRIPTION

These carburetters are of the dual barrel side-drought type, each consisting of two

into the narrowest sections of the large venturis. By using two ventirris in each barrel
a greater depression i s created than when a single ventirri i s employed. Also, the
i s irsed b y the auxiliary Sentwis, which dischar g e into the centre of the main venturis
