To sliminote fuel vapourisation into the atmosphere, and thus comply
Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, an 'evaporotive circuit' i s incorporated in'
system of cars fitted with Zenith carburetters.
This
collects the fuel vapour given off from the frrel tank vents or the f i l l e r neck:
Mounted alon g side the fuel tank i s o catch tank, for the purpose of prever
fuel reaching the chorcoal canister, under conditions of extreme heav
vehicle manoeuvres. The catch tank cannot receive petrol via the filler necks of :he
main tank.

Release the bolts or clips retaining the cover to the body.
